I get 30 points just for keeping on the track and driving a new pb? IIRC it was over 4 seconds slower than lap record for WE1r with the XRT.

Can you guys pass a driver who doesn't make mistakes?
I can pass only when they make a mistake. Afterwards I'm always like "w00t I passed someone! Go me!" and make a mess of it in the next corner and they go flying by.

I sometimes can tailgate other drivers, on the straights, but I don't have enough speed to pass. If I change my line to go around I lose the small speed difference and have a bad line to the next turn.
If I hang on to their rear bumper for the whole straight I end up braking early, because I definitely don't want to hit them while braking. So on the next straight I, once again, use all the speed difference just to gain my previous place at their rear bumper just before the braking zone. Repeat untill race ends.

Well now I've really done it.

Have a question about Race 2 and it does coincide with Race 3 too.

What is the correct way to react to the faster class?
On the Race 2 I drive like I'm being blue flagged when ever one of the LRF class aproatches me from behind. Whether it's lapping me or has previously spun and is therefore behind me (or what ever).

On the Race 3 this is harder because there is no visual difference between the GTR and GT2 classes. Other than the fact that the car is gaining on you pretty darn quickly on the straights.

Dajmin, have to agree with you there.
They think that with more hp (HP, PS, Hp or hP) or W (kW, MW, GW, TW, PW or EW) they are going to be faster and get smaller numerical values for their lap times.

Honestly I don't understand people who only stare at their lap times. I find racing with others much more interesting.

BTW are there any differences in LFS between the tyres?

I had another little glitch in the pits.
Even though I had set there to be no refueling at the pits I still was refueled. There came the text (Refueling) and InSim reported 9.xy liters being put in the tank. But when I checked the F12 screen there was no additional fuel.

Because it's the DEMO. The less content in the demo the sooner the demoers will buy a license.

No you can't but your pit crew can. That's what telemetry (remembered it this time) is for.

In LFS you are your own pit crew so I don't see how the F9 and F10 screens are so unreal.

So if it's german behind me I should indicate to the direction I want him/her to go. If it's a brit(or a finn or plenty of other nationalities) I should indicate to the direction I want to go.

From now on, every time you see me on a server change your racer name to your country so I can indicate to the correct direction.

Maybe the easier way is that I indicate the way I want to go and all you have to do is remember me saying it here. I already have "I BRAKE EARLY!" on my rear bumper maybe I should add "INDICATOR SHOWS MY WAY!" or something similar.
